I am a registered nurse with an active Maine license and a nursing degree from the University of Southern Maine. I currently work in a fast-paced emergency department, caring for patients with medical, cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and traumatic emergencies. My professional training includes BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certification. Having successfully completed nursing school and passed the NCLEX-RN, I understand the knowledge, clinical judgment, and test-taking skills nursing students need to develop.
As a nursing education content creator, I teach nursing concepts to students preparing for course examinations and the NCLEX-RN. My educational content focuses on high-yield topics such as fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology, maternity, pediatrics, prioritization, delegation, and Next Generation NCLEX clinical judgment. I break complicated material into clear explanations, visual memory aids, practice questions, and step-by-step rationales. My goal is to help students understand why an answer is correct instead of relying only on memorization.
During individual tutoring sessions, I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning needs and areas of weakness. We can review course content, work through NCLEX-style and NGN questions, analyze incorrect answers, and build a realistic study plan. I create a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions freely, strengthen their clinical reasoning, and become more confident test-takers. I especially enjoy helping nursing students connect textbook concepts to real patient-care situations.
