As an educator for twenty years in private schools, I’ve got the secret sauce and know what teachers are looking for when it comes to student work on research, writing, Spanish, and English. Together we will work to clearly define your goals and objectives so that you can get the most out of each tutoring session and work towards the level of mastery that you desire. During my career as head school librarian for grades 6-12 at top tier independent schools in Boston and Washington, D.C., I partnered with dozens of teachers on research projects and guided students as a Faculty Advisor for senior project papers and served as a Department Chair. I worked with students in the writing center and tutored frequently. I can help you with essays, grammar, writing mechanics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and thesis development.

I started my career as a certified Spanish teacher for several years, studied for a year in Spain and have maintained my fluency through regular trips and relationships with Spanish family members. I’m an expert on Spanish grammar, language, and vocabulary.
