Hi! I’m Bayley, and if you asked my students what they love most about working with me, they’d probably laugh and say, “She actually makes school feel doable.”
I earned a BA in Schools and Society (Sociology) and a BA in Human Development with a minor in Art History, and for the last five years I’ve turned big ideas into fun, manageable learning moments for high schoolers — from grappling with Shakespeare to making sense of U.S. history. I’ve also spent summers teaching elementary and middle school learners, so I’m comfortable with a range of ages and learning styles and always adapt my approach to each student’s strengths.
What really lights me up is helping students go from overwhelmed to confident. I excel in the humanities! I focus first on building a real connection. Kids often tell me they’re excited to work together because I make lessons engaging and relatable, and because I believe that relationships come first in learning.
My tutoring style blends structure with creativity. We set clear goals together, but always in a way that feels supportive, not stressful. I meet students where they are, help them tackle the hard parts with confidence, and cheer them on as they grow. If you’re looking for someone who makes challenges and overwhelm feel accessible and even fun, I’d be thrilled to help you reach your goals!
