Hi! This is LuisDa. I am a Bates College graduate, with a Bachelors in Theater & Latin American Studies. I've worked as a dramaturgy intern at Tectonic Theater Project and have conducted research on Argentine theater with a Phillips Fellowship. Moreover, I have received a Drake Bradley Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research (2021) for my undergraduate thesis in play translation. I am currently working as a theater-maker and native Spanish tutor.

I have several years of experience tutoring languages. Plus, I am a native Spanish speaker (from Spain). Over the years, I have worked with both Spanish students who needed assistance passing their English exams in Spanish high schools, and American college students who needed assistance with their college coursework. Most of that tutoring was one-on-one and revolved around coursework material (reading, writing, grammar...) I enjoy conversational lessons the most. That is how I learned English and that is how I like to teach others Spanish. That said, we can tailor a learning plan to meet your personal goals.
