Hi, my name is Jeff, for the past four years I have been teaching high school chemistry at Kents Hill School. Prior to that I taught freshman and sophomore chemistry at St. John's University and The College of Saint Benedict in MN. Before I got my Ph.D. (organic chemistry) in 2000 I was a tutor to both math and science students of high school and college ages. I worked with students near the top of their class, students out of school for a variety of reasons, and everyone in between. Once I earned my Ph.D., I worked for 13 years as a pharmaceutical chemist making oncology drugs. I try to make the tutor/student experience rewarding; I am not just here to lecture but to engage you in the learning process to get you to ask the questions that are begging to be asked and learning the material that has to be learned. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you.
