Hi, I’m Chad! I graduated summa cum laude with a double major in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. I have always enjoyed solving problems and helping others understand more complex concepts. I have broad knowledge in Computer Science and Math, and I am able to tutor many different subjects. Most of my tutoring experience is in Pre-calculus and Calculus, but I have covered many other math courses including Discrete Math, Real Analysis, and Differential Equations. I have also tutored basic programming in Python, Java, and data structures. Additionally, I have tutored for calculus-based Physics I & Physics II. I am experienced with and happy to tutor high school Algebra and Geometry, as well as SAT prep for the Math section.
I have two years of tutoring experience employed at two universities, where I provided one on one tutoring as well group instruction to my fellow students with many different levels of understanding and support needs. I want my sessions to be a collaborative effort where students can come in with specific questions or a more vague topic and I can help them wherever they are in the process. I am also able to help with homework or any kind of test preparation including the math section of the SAT.
Academically, I have scored in the 99th percentile for my SAT’s and achieved a 4.0 GPA in my Applied Mathematics degree. I am very interested in furthering my education, and will be attending a Master’s program in Computer Science in the Fall. I know what it is like to be a student, and I want to help others to succeed academically.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and feel free to schedule a lesson!
