I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Sociology from Drury University, a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, an Educational Specialist degree in Elementary Mathematics Education from University of Missouri, and am currently pursing a Doctorate in Education from Johns Hopkins University. I also have graduate teaching certificates in Reading and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) from Eastern Oregon University and a graduate teaching certificate in Gifted Education from Truman State University.
I was an administrator for a K-12 learning center where I worked with parents and students to develop individualized plans of study to help improve academics and prepare students for college readiness exams. I have also taught students at the elementary and middle school levels across multiple contents and specifically worked as a reading specialist, math coach, ESOL teacher, and gifted education teacher.
