I am a native Russian with extensive experience teaching Russian and English to adults (18+) in the US and Russia. I taught in colleges and universities, and to Special Operations personnel in American Army. I have a 5-year degree in Linguistics (English-German), I also have a great passion for learning languages and teaching them.

I am a native speaker of Russian who has completed a 5-year degree in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication. Since 2002, I have taught both English and Russian at a college in Maine, a language institute in Saint Petersburg, Russia, a language company in Fort Bragg, NC, and as a private tutor on different occasions. In addition to my formal education in languages (English, German, Russian, Italian), I have had professional training in teaching adults (learner centeredness, multiple intelligences, etc.). I am familiar with the American major national testing scale for a language proficiency, ILR and ACTFL, and their requirements.
