When I began studying for my NCEES P.E. Exam in Structural, I quickly realized there were major gaps in my knowledge. My background was in Electrical Engineering, with both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in E.E., and my professional experience centered on designing structural drawings for temporary structures and construction equipment. That meant entire areas of the exam—AASHTO, Prestressed Concrete, Seismic Design, Masonry Design, and more—were completely new to me. For almost 2 years, I studied with Roger three days a week. We started with basic P.E. problems and worked our way up to complex, multi-step structural questions across every specification tested. Roger always arrived prepared, having already reviewed the problems and mapped out an approach. He explained each step with clarity and patience, which made even the most difficult concepts manageable. Over time, my skills and confidence grew. I learned to navigate the manuals quickly, identify the right approach, and execute solutions efficiently. In the end, I not only passed my P.E. in Structural, but I became a far stronger engineer thanks to Roger’s dedication. I owe him a great deal of gratitude and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone preparing for the exam

well prepared tutor
Roger asked me to send the materials that I would like to work on before the session and he also send me the worksheet after the session. He helped me a lot during the session.

Very easy to understand and follow.
We are going over retaining wall structural calcs and it has been very engaging. I even love getting homework. By the time we finish, I plan on using this refresher course to perform more structural work for my company.

Experienced and patient
Roger really helped me on understanding the drawings especially since I have no experience in interpreting plans. I now have a good grasp on the utilities in particular. Would definitely recommend his tutoring.
