Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I’ve been an RN for three years now. Time flies! I obtained my BSN degree from Stevenson University in May 2020. I have four years of experience working on an acute Medical- Surgical Telemetry unit. On this unit, I worked as a Student RN, a Nurse Graduate, and eventually as an RN. As an RN on this unit, I had the opportunity to precept new Nurse Graduates. Additionally since completing nursing school, I’ve had the opportunity of speaking publicly to nursing students at Coppin State University about my experience as an RN. One topic I spoke about to these students was how I adapted to being a new RN during the peak of the pandemic. Now, I have transitioned to Population Health, and I am working as an RN Care Manager. This role allows me to help patients meet their health goals via chronic disease education and connection to community resources. I’m happy to announce that I was nominated and selected to be featured in this year’s Baltimore Magazine of Top Nurses! I’m eager to further my career and to give back to my profession by helping to instill knowledge, skill, and confidence in the students I hope to serve. I hope you are one of them!
