I am a career trainer with a background in sales, sales training and recruiting. After a successful 15-year career in the IT industry I decided to pursue my love of teaching and become a coach. I have been working as a career trainer for the last 12 years. I leverage everything I’ve learned over 20 years in sales and recruiting to give my students a competitive advantage - I teach things you won’t learn from other career coaches. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Russian from Georgetown University and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
The first step of my training is to help my students develop their own personal story that will get employers interested in them. The second step consists of writing a resume that stands out and tells this story in a memorable, compelling way (I also cover getting noticed online). The third step is in-depth interview training. I teach a number of advanced techniques typically only used by very advanced salespeople. I also share answers to all the common interview questions, like "what is your biggest weakness?" I also cover the common traps and pitfalls to avoid and how to deal with gaps, poor tenure or big changes of direction in your previous experience.
