Hi there! I'm Shannon, a certified Maryland teacher with over 15 years of experience, a B.A. in History, and a Master's in Education. Most importantly, though, I'm someone who genuinely loves helping students figure out how they learn best. Let's be honest: middle and high school humanities classes can sometimes feel overwhelming. Between endless textbook chapters, tricky essay prompts, and high-stakes exams, it's easy to feel stuck. My goal is to take away that stress, make learning something you actually look forward to, and help you build strong study habits and organizational skills that pay off across all of your classes.

If you are a high schooler taking AP U.S. History, AP World History, or AP Government, you don't have to navigate it alone. Together, we'll turn complex historical events into compelling stories and break down Document-Based Questions (DBQs) and FRQs into simple, step-by-step formulas. I'll help you decode primary sources and walk into test day feeling completely prepared and confident.
