My current role as an analyst consists of coding in SQL to create datasets, utilizing Microsoft programs to create analysis of data found and presenting. I have had the opportunity to learn how to use pivot tables, think cell, and other useful tools to help complete my job efficiently. I also have my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and did well both in high school, undergrad, and in my current degree.
I started tutoring back in high school as a peer counselor in the classroom in all types of high school math. I then tutored college athletes at ASU from tennis players to football players and everyone in between. My favorite math would have to be Algebra :) but I love them all. I originally started out at ASU as a math major and have taken several math courses. I also have been dancing for over 20 years and teaching for about 10. I have done private lessons and group classes for students ages 2-70. I have taught ballet, tap, jazz, hip, hop, contemporary, and more. I have taught both in person and through virtual classes.
My approach to tutoring is to first understand your background, the specific coursework that you need help with, and your goals for tutoring. From there I work with you to create a schedule and periodically check in with you to make sure that you are receiving the tools to succeed; whether it's completing an assignment, doing well on a test, or grasping a material better, I am here to help.
