Professional violinist, Neil P. resides in Waldorf, MD and has been teaching for over 20 years. Lessons take place in his home studio. Mr. P. teaches strings which includes violin, viola, and cello. He also teaches piano lessons. Mr. P. is a member of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA). His students have played in Charles County All County Orchestra and Tri County Orchestra and also Maryland Senior All State Orchestra. He prepares his students for the ASTA Certificate Program. His students have also successfully auditioned for Music Conservatories and Music schools. His students have all gained superior ratings at Solo and Ensemble festivals at both the district and state levels.

Neil P. studied violin at Wilmington Academy of Music in Wilmington, NC with Nancy McAllister and with violinist, Teri Lazar of American University. He studied violin with Joseph Esmilla at University of Maryland and chamber music with Evelyn Elsing. He has performed with various symphonies at Kennedy Center, Howard University, George Mason University and George Washington University.

As an ESL tutor he has plenty of experience working with international students.

Neil P. has over 20 years experience as an instrumental music teacher specializing in string instruments. He is also a professional performer in a professional string quartet.

In addition to Music, Neil P. is also a Clinical Microbiologist (ASCP M) with over 25 years of experience in diagnostic Microbiology specializing in Bacteriology, Mycology, Immunology and Parasitology. He has assisted in the diagnosis of infectious diseases in the Washington DC metro area including isolation of the very rare Bacillus anthracis, the cause of Anthrax. He is happy to tutor help with ASCP MLT or M exam.
