I have spent more than 18 years in law enforcement and currently work in an Office of Inspector General oversight role, where critical thinking, research, clear communication, and professional writing are part of my daily responsibilities. I earned an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, and I am currently completing a Master's degree in Homeland Security Management. My academic and professional background has given me extensive experience analyzing complex topics, conducting research, writing professional reports, and communicating information in a clear and organized manner.

Although I am new to professional tutoring, I enjoy helping students build confidence and develop the skills they need to succeed independently. My goal is not simply to help complete an assignment, but to teach students how to organize their thoughts, strengthen their writing, understand course concepts, and improve their research skills. I work patiently with college and adult learners who want to improve their academic writing, APA formatting, critical thinking, and subject knowledge in criminal justice, political science, and related fields.

I believe learning is most effective when students understand the "why" behind a concept rather than simply memorizing information. I strive to create a supportive, professional learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the confidence to succeed both in their current coursework and in their future academic and professional goals.
