I have a BA in French and English from the University of Yaounde-Cameroon, after having undergone and intensive English language, translation, and British studies in the University of East Anglia (UK). I also hold a Master's degree in the Science of Language, Literature and Culture from the University of Dschang-Cameroon. The bilingual nature of my education has resulted in my mastery of teaching French as a second language to English-speaking learners and vice-versa.
Due to longevity in teaching and continuous studies, I customarily tailor language programs/curricula according to the level and professions of learners, and never hesitate giving individualized assistance. Graded assessment in class, homework, interactions and role play are some of the streamlined methods that I strategically deploy to enhance the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing. Depending on the level of learners, I use the immersion technique and only resort to the first language when absolutely necessary.
In a nutshell, my tutoring practices are flexible, methodical and adapted to learners' assimilation abilities and assiduities. My students consult me on a regular basis because of my relentless availability and significant impact on their holistic education. Participating in students' academic growth is an inestimable delight.
