Vocabulary

Vocabulary

I taught Middle school Language Arts for 3 years. Language Arts of course covers a variety of different things but one of the main focuses is on spelling and vocabulary. This is one of the dividing lines between English and Language Arts. I had weekly spelling and vocabulary tests with my students, they not only needed to know what the word meant but also how to spell them.
World History

I have a master's degree in history. I was a history teacher for 5 years on the middle school, high school and continuing education levels in both a private school and public school settings. I taught American history, Civil War History, Geography, European and Ancient and Modern World History. I developed an Ethnic Studies course focused on Asian, Latin and African-American history and taught the course to high school seniors and post-graduate students. I can cover history from the basic elementary level all the way up through college level.
