Hello, and welcome to my profile. I am a writing and English literacy tutor with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing with a minor in Literature, and a graduate-level certificate in Professional Writing. I am also pursuing a Master of Science in Psychology, which has strengthened my understanding of learning, motivation, communication, and student development.
I have experience providing one-on-one online tutoring to middle school, high school, and adult learners. Through my work with Learn to Be, I help students improve reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, critical thinking, and academic communication skills. I also work with English language learners through ENGin, helping students build confidence and fluency in spoken English through structured conversation practice and individualized feedback.
My tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs. I focus on helping students develop the skills and strategies necessary for long-term success rather than simply completing assignments. Whether a student is working on essays, research papers, reading assignments, college application essays, or general writing skills, I provide clear guidance and constructive feedback that helps them become stronger, more independent learners.
As both a writer and educator, I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their reading, writing, and communication abilities. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to achieve their academic goals.
