I have pursued continuous education throughout my life, attending several institutions including Virginia Tech for Mechatronics Engineering. My technical foundation was further solidified by completing a rigorous full-stack JavaScript coding bootcamp with Hack Reactor (Galvanize). My journey with programming began in 2003 with my first high school course, and I have since developed deep proficiency across a diverse stack, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, and Java. This lifelong commitment to learning allows me to provide students with both foundational theory and modern, industry-standard practices.

My teaching and training experience spans various settings and age groups. While serving in the U.S. Air Force for six years, I naturally transitioned into the role of office trainer, where I was responsible for breaking down complex technical procedures for my team. Following my military service, I was employed by my college as a formal tutor. In this role, I worked one-on-one with students across a broad spectrum of subjects, including mathematics, physics, engineering, and programming. This experience taught me how to adapt my communication style to meet the unique needs of each learner, whether they were struggling with high-school-level basics or advanced college coursework.

I believe that anyone can master a difficult subject if it is presented in a way that is engaging, stress-free, and tailored to their learning style. My tutoring method focuses on making the material accessible and fun, removing the anxiety that often accompanies subjects like Calculus or full-stack development.
