I am a National Board Certified Teacher with over seven years of classroom experience, primarily focused on mathematics and special education in the high school setting. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and a Maryland State teaching certification with endorsements in both Math and Special Education. Throughout my career, I have worked with students across a wide range of ability levels, including those with learning differences, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. My training allows me to tailor instruction to individual needs while keeping students engaged, supported, and on track.

My teaching experience includes teacher of record in outside general education classes, co-taught general education classes, small-group pull-out instruction, and one-on-one remediation. I’ve taught students from grades 6 through 12 in subjects ranging from foundational math to pre-college algebra and test prep. I incorporate visual supports, real-world applications, and structured routines to help learners grasp difficult concepts. I also emphasize patience, clarity, and building confidence—especially for students who feel left behind in traditional settings. My students consistently make measurable progress and often say they finally “get it” after working with me.
