I have also tutored ultrasound students in the subject of SPI in 2019. I have also tutored high school students in GT biology in 2016.
My teaching philosophy is that each student has a unique style of learning, comprehending and retaining and that it is my job to identify these styles and incorporate them into my teaching methods. I strive to create a teaching environment that will encourage each student to believe in themself and their abilities, in order to reach their full potential.
I believe the first step in teaching is knowing your audience. As a teacher, I strive to adapt my teaching style to suit my audience. My role is to guide, encourage and inspire my students. I believe in incorporating hands-on activities, individual and group projects, as well as technology.
I have worked one on one in person, large groups in a classroom setting, as well as online via Zoom. My students have ranged in age from 15 to 30 years old.
