He is a good teacher, patiently walking through areas that are not clear, providing you as many resources as possible and providing a path with fundamentals and practice. From the start you could tell how much Walt cared about you as a person. Walt teaches because he loves the game of chess. If you have always wanted to learn chess but worried you were too old, or it would be too hard, think again! Walt is an amazing tutor who can break down the complicated game of chess and make it easy to understand. He also can give you additional resources so that you can study different things in between lessons. My only regret is that I didn’t start lessons with Walt sooner, he’s the best!
