I have been teaching for 17 years, and hold both Maryland State Certification in Social Studies and Speech Communication at the secondary level. I also possess Advance Professional Certification through the Maryland Department of Education. In addition, I have Title 1 experience as a Tutor in Prince George's County, and coached high school football for the last 4 years.
On a more personal note, I link most of my success in education is due to my ability to relate/communicate to a variety of students from many different backgrounds. I have found that at the end of the day, all students want to achieve success, whether they express it or not, and if the instruction is engaging and interactive, they will reach any learning goal they set.
