With over 20 years of teaching experience, I've learned that students are really looking for a place to belong and connect. Music is simply the way to do that. Band is a way to spend time with your friends, create something together, and share it with others. The music they enjoy and the hurdles they overcome are the means to build connections, what life's all about!
I have a master's from Peabody Conservatory so I have a solid foundation in technique. But really what makes me stand out from even my own former teachers is I always want to bring joy to my students through the music we play so I constantly search for ways to do that.
Please reach out and ask as many questions as you need. Looking forward to meeting you!
