Greetings Families and Students:
The summer is quickly approaching. Many of our school years ended a lot differently than we expected. However, learning doesn't have to stop! Keep your child's skills and concepts fresh this summer and be ready for the new school year by enrolling in online tutoring.

I have experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and different ability levels including general education, English as a second language, Talented and Gifted, Special Education -- ADD/ADHD and Autism. I am a certified teacher working in Prince George's County Public Schools. Currently, I teach kindergarten in Hyattsville. I have 11 years of experience in early childhood education teaching kindergarten and first grade. I believe in building a student's confidence and then giving them skills and strategies to conquer challenging academic concepts.

I work with elementary reading students to provide a comprehensive understanding of phonics, sight words to improve reading comprehension and support students in reading basic level books while teaching strategies to figure out challenging words. I also support elementary math students in understanding basic skills/concepts such as counting, basic addition/ subtraction and place value. I use manipulatives and hands-on differentiated activities to make learning engaging and fun.

I believe all students learn at different rates but have the ability to achieve success if given the time to do so. My goal is to work with your family and help your child reach their maximum academic potential!
