I can't imagine a better writing tutor; she absolutely exceeded my expectations. I have been in the process of applying for speech-language pathology graduate school. It is an EXTREMELY competitive program (25-35 spots and 400 applicants in each program.) With her help both editing my essays and interview coaching, I became a much stronger applicant. As of now, I have been accepted to FIVE of the seven programs I applied to!!! From brainstorming to editing/proofreading/revising and interview coaching, she transformed my work from average to exceptional. Our first session we solely worked on brainstorming. From there, Amy brought my rough drafts to life. My final essays keep my own work, that had greatly improved with our brainstorming session, but with better description, flow, and conciseness (which is imperative for graduate school essays.) Just from one lesson, I learned so much! Additionally, her explanations are extremely clear, and she comes prepared to makes the most out of each one-hour session. Needless to say, I HIGHLY recommend Amy for anyone needing help with college admissions essays or interviews!
