I hold a minor in business from the University of Kansas where I took courses such as finance, accounting, information systems, statistics and probability, marketing, and management. Furthermore, I’m also a passionate entrepreneur and co-founder of Uplancer, an online freelancing marketplace where vetted students and young professionals gain experience working on business gigs. At Uplancer, I served as the Vice President. My role involved recruiting software developers, managing web and mobile development projects, performing market research, supporting fundraising efforts, and participating in the 2018 Tech in Asia startup technology conference in Tokyo, Japan.

Differential Equations

I am qualified to tutor differential equations because I've aced an applied differential equations course as an undergraduate and I hold an MS degree in mechanical engineering where differential equations is a prerequisite for several classes in the curriculum. I commonly employed concepts from differential equations (e.g., Laplace transform) in many of my undergraduate and graduate courses. I have experience solving ordinary and partial differential equations both analytically and numerically.

Mechanical Engineering

I am qualified to tutor mechanical engineering subjects because I have an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University. Furthermore, I have three years of professional work experience as a mechanical design engineer. I am knowledgeable in subjects such as mechanical design, mechanics of materials, statics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.

Project Management

I hold a minor in business from the University of Kansas where I completed a course in management. I also received a certificate from Open2Study after completing their course titled Principles of Project Management. Furthermore, I’m a passionate entrepreneur and co-founder of Uplancer, an online freelancing marketplace where vetted students and young professionals gain experience working on business gigs. At Uplancer, I served as the Vice President where one of my primary duties was managing web and mobile development projects using the feature driven devolpment agile framework.

Solidworks

I hold an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Kansas. I took various courses such as Computer Graphics, Mechanical Engineering Design Process, and Mechanical Design I & II, where I utilized Solidworks to model complex parts and assemblies. Furthermore, I have relevant work experience as a mechanical design engineer for a renewable energy technology company. I realized various accomplishments, including 3D modeling and preparing 2D mechanical drawings of patented smart utility meters and drive products for wind turbine and telecom applications using Solidworks. My experience spans the entire product life-cycle from design through simulation, testing, and manufacturing.

Visual Basic

I've developed multiple programs with graphical user interfaces using the visual basic programming language. One of these programs is a employee database that can organize employees based on various filters such as location, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, I produced a Peng-Robinson equation of state calculator that computes the pressure of a real gas using the Newton-Raphson numerical method. Furthermore, I developed a program that solves the transient heat equation and displays the temperature distribution in a rectangular domain with constant temperature Dirichlet boundary conditions. Moreover, I created a finite element method solver for 2D trusses that outputs the element forces, stresses, strains, nodal displacements, and reaction forces.
