My experience with formal tutoring, mostly in high school math subjects, provides me with insight needed to best serve each individual student. I attempt to focus on areas that students feel they need the most work with, and I help to enhance their understanding by explaining concepts from different angles and by guiding students through multiple example problems.
Having had much experience applying the concepts of math and physics learned in high school to higher education and real world situations has only enhanced my knowledge and understanding of the fundamental principles of these subjects. I know that this background greatly will help me to accomplish my primary goal of improving students' confidence their academic abilities.
