With more than 25 years experience (including 20 in the Montgomery County schools), I know instructional expectations and curriculum better than many tutors. I have an AB from Brown University and a MA from The George Washington University. I achieved professional board certification and renewal (NBCT) in English as a New Language. I know intermediate Spanish and advanced beginning French.
I am also a published writer with four years experience working as a reporter/editor. I write creatively as well; my poetry has been published online and in magazines. I wrote a poetry chapbook that was published in 2016.
