I am a native Spanish speaker from Lima, Peru. I also am proficient in the legal Spanish language since I am a Peruvian attorney at Law.
I hold a Diploma of Specialization in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language by Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. I also have a certification as a creator of online teaching spaces and materials by Cervantes Institute of Spain.
Since 2011 I have been working as a Spanish tutor for high school, college students and adults from beginner to advanced level in the USA.
I use different teaching methods because my teaching style suits the student’s learning abilities. I also use the plan of improvisation as a learning method, that means my lessons are not subjected to a rigid scripted framework. Additionally, my classes focus on communication using task-based learning since my objective is that the students develop their grammar, reading, listening and speaking skills based on a concept involving total immersion in Spanish culture and language in a lively, fun, and relaxing atmosphere.
I have a strong passion for teaching and sharing some interesting aspects of my culture. I am a very patient, enthusiastic and professional person, and I am focused on customer satisfaction.
