Hi! My name is Jearson A. and I'm a Brown University graduate with Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science, with my Masters' focus on Computer Systems Security.
I have experience teaching Computer Science and Programming to students as young as 6-17 years old as a Online Tutor for another learning platform (Juni Learning) as well as as experience teaching college students as a regular and head teaching assistant for two of Brown University's courses (Intro to Computer Security and Intro to Microprocessor and Concurrent Programming)
I also have ample experience with IT, Networking, Systems Administration, and Help Desk functions through my experience as a Lead Student Systems Administrator for my university's computer cluster as well as my "home lab" hobby.
I also have a bit over 3 years of professional experience as a Software Developer for a small, growing tech company located in Virginia and am currently exploring Computer Hardware Design, Embedded Programming, Woodworking, Metalworking, 3D Printing, and other topics at a makerspace in my spare time.
I love talking and teaching Computer Science and especially and seeing what students do with the knowledge they've learned and am always down to discuss anything science-related.
As far as languages, I'm native in English, and conversational in both the Chinese and Japanese Languages, having attended 8-week intensive summer language courses in Beijing, China and Kyoto, Japan, respectively
