I have a Bachelor in Science degree from Punjab University, Chandigarh, India (1970) with major in Mathematics and Physics, and a Master in Science degree from Punjabi University, Patiala, India (1972) with major in Physics. I taught Physics to Bachelor of Science students, average class size of 20 students per year (classroom setting), at SCD Government College in Ludhiana, Punjab, India from 1972 to 2002. Additionally, I have been providing private coaching to Junior and Senior high school students in classroom and one-on-one setting (in-person), approximately 200 students per year, in physics and mathematics since 1982 to improve their proficiency in these subjects and prepare them for medical and engineering competitive entrance tests in India. Approximately 40 to 50% of these students per year achieved high rank in these competitive exams allowing placement in college of medicine or engineering. I have also authored multiple textbooks in physics, including Comprehensive Physics for grade 11 and 12, latest edition in 2024, as well as specialized books for competitive exams like JEE Main (India). I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. I have recently immigrated to US and am looking to continue private coaching in Mathematics and Physics using the online platform. I like to individualize the teaching curriculum to the student's needs and help students understand the principles of Physics and Mathematics so that they can succeed in their school performance and also be prepared for standardized tests such as SAT.
