Hello, I'm David! I graduated with High Honors from Princeton University with a A.B. in Geosciences, specializing in Oceans, Atmosphere, and Climate. I'm passionate about using the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout college and high school to help students succeed.
My undergraduate curriculum required advanced studies in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science. In these rigorous high-level STEM courses, I received all A's, including in several graduate-level classes. I was awarded the Shapiro Prize, which is given to the top 2-3% of my class for academic excellence. In high school, I scored a perfect 800 on the SAT Math section (1590 overall, just one question missed in Reading) and earned 5's in AP Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, and Physics C.
After graduating, I volunteered in Thailand for 8 months, teaching high school math and science. That time affirmed my belief that there should be no barriers for a motivated student who truly wants to learn. To me, tutoring is not a transaction, but an investment in someone's growth and future. I recognize that private tutoring can feel like a luxury, so if cost is a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am more than happy to accommodate discounts where I can. I truly desire to help every student grow.
