Hi, my name is Marcos! I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland and I recently graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School's Science and Technology program. While I was a student there, I was the National Honor Society's committee head of tutoring, and I helped organize tutoring sessions every week in the school. These sessions had a variety of tutors, which met with students 1-on-1 to effectively hone in on the skills they desired to learn. We mostly had students coming in for STEM related subjects, so I can effectively teach those, however, I am also skilled in English and can aid in fabricating essays or any other written assignments.
For my credentials, I have taken AP classes such as English Language and Composition, English Literature, Chemistry, Biology, and Calculus BC, scoring highly on those exams with 4s and 5s. I have also received an award for excellence in a science-based curriculum, while also being accepted into a life sciences honor college at UMD.
