I am a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where I earned my degree in Criminology, Law, and Justice. During my time at UIC, I developed a deep understanding of the criminal justice system. My academic journey also provided me with the opportunity to contribute to my community in meaningful ways. I had the privilege of tutoring high school students through AmeriCorps at Saga Education, where I worked to help improve academic achievement and provide support for students who needed extra attention. This experience allowed me to develop strong communication and mentoring skills while fostering a passion for helping others succeed in their education.
Currently, I am working as a Kindergarten Educational Aide, where I assist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young students. In this role, I support teachers in the classroom by helping students with their daily tasks, guiding them through academic activities, and providing individualized attention. This position has further honed my ability to work with diverse groups of students and has deepened my commitment to education and supporting the growth of the next generation.
