I have been teaching and tutoring math and science topics for just over ten years. As a remediation teacher, I excel in helping students understand difficult concepts and teaching them how to study difficult subjects. When tutoring I have the tendency to focus on helping students make their math and science foundation strong, and then we build from there. The stronger the foundation, the more the student understands.

My ultimate goal in any tutoring situation is to teach the student enough (including study techniques) so they can succeed on their own.

I currently hold a Texas 7-12 Math Teaching Certificate. In the past 3 years, I have taught: Algebra, Geometry, Math Models, Finance, and AP Statistics. I am well versed in most math subjects and am currently working on my Masters degree in Mathematics.

My undergraduate degrees are in Aerospace Engineering and Physics. For most students, I think foundational physics (physics 1-3) are the most important to truly understand because those topics are used in many other disciplines.
