I am a licensed School Counselor with a Master’s degree in School Counseling and over a decade of experience supporting students and families in both academic and athletic pathways. My work sits at the intersection of mental wellness, academic planning, and college admissions, with a specialized focus on student-athletes, particularly volleyball players.
As a former school counselor, I have extensive experience in academic advising, social-emotional development, goal setting, and postsecondary planning. I have worked closely with students in grades K–12, including those with IEPs, anxiety, ADHD, and other emotional or learning challenges, helping them build confidence, self-advocacy skills, and long-term success plans.
In addition to counseling, I am a volleyball coach and recruiting consultant, and the founder of a private coaching and consulting practice where I guide families through the college recruiting and admissions process. I help students identify the right academic and athletic fit, create realistic recruiting strategies, communicate with college coaches, and prepare strong college and scholarship applications. I also support families who are navigating the process for the first time and want clarity without pressure or misinformation.
My approach is holistic, ethical, and student-centered. I believe college planning should align with a student’s academic strengths, mental health, personal values, and long-term goals—not just rankings or athletic pressure. Sessions may include academic planning, college list development, recruiting strategy, essay feedback, mindset coaching, or organization and time-management support.
Families often describe my style as calm, honest, and empowering. I work especially well with students who feel overwhelmed, unsure of their direction, or caught between academic expectations and athletic demands.
