¡Hola! Me llamo Señora B! I have been teaching high school Spanish for 16 years. I am from the United States and learned Spanish in school just like my students and so I know how to get it done! I have a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. I have lived in Spain and love to travel. As a classroom teacher I have taken students all over the world in order to give them authentic language and cultural experiences.

As a native English speaker, I do my best to simplify Spanish grammar topics in a way that is relatable and retainable to my English speakers. I am here to help prepare you for an exam, clarify vocabulary and grammar topics, and to improve your overall communication and understanding in and of the Spanish language and Hispanic/Latin culture.

Additionally, I am a mom of 5 little ones. I love helping my own children foster a love for education and am hopeful that I can be of help to you (or your child) as well! In addition to teaching Spanish, I have been working with elementary and middle school aged children for years assisting with math, reading, and writing. I feel as though my work as a teacher is never done until my students truly grasp the material and can take their new found knowledge and apply it as independent readers and thinkers. I hope that I can be of help to you!
