We had such a wonderful experience working with Umang as our son’s SAT tutor. From the very beginning, Umang was incredibly calm, thoughtful, and intentional in the way he approached each session. What stood out most was that he didn’t simply teach to the test. He took the time to understand our son’s learning style, recognize where he could realistically pick up additional points, and figure out the best way to help him make those improvements. Our son really appreciated how approachable Umang was and how comfortable he made the entire process feel. Umang taught him to look at the SAT in a much more manageable and approachable way. He challenged him with more difficult questions, watched how he worked through them, and then made small, meaningful adjustments rather than trying to completely change his thought process. That personalized approach made such a difference. Umang was also incredibly generous with his time. He often stayed beyond the scheduled session to answer questions or talk through anything our son was unsure about, and he never charged us extra for that time. More than anything, it truly felt like Umang had “skin in the game.” He genuinely cared about our son’s progress and success, and that was something our entire family appreciated so much. We are very grateful for the time, patience, and effort he put into helping our son feel more confident and prepared for the SAT. I would highly recommend Umang to any family looking for a thoughtful, patient, and invested SAT tutor.
