Miguel has been tutoring me in organic chemistry since mid-semester and I cannot say enough good things. I am really weak in organic chemistry to the point that I'm usually too embarrassed to even seek help from peer tutors and way too nervous to go to my professor. Miguel has been/is so patient the entire time. No matter how many questions about various mechanisms I have and regardless how incompetent I feel asking them, Miguel patiently answers them and makes everything so simple. He makes tutoring feel like a light subject rather than a major daunting course. I've mentioned to my friends and to Miguel as well that I really wish Miguel was actually my own professor because of how simple he makes the most complicated things. I can't think of one class where I did not learn a tip or trick to help me strengthen one aspect of organic chemistry and it seems like Miguel always has a helpful tip for everything related to chemistry. I even ask Miguel about questions related to different chemistry lab experiments and it always turns out that he has had experience doing pretty much all of the experiments I have done/am doing. If you're thinking of having organic tutoring sessions, I would HIGHLY recommend you choose Miguel. I have tried both online and in-person sessions, and I definitely like online better (the lessons even get recorded) and you will learn so much with Miguel if you do.

Excellent and patient tutor!
Miguel is an excellent tutor. He is very patient in tutoring my daughter in general chemistry. My daughter was struggling during the beginning weeks of second semester general chemistry and did not do well on her first test. After tutoring with Miguel she received a 94% on her next test. He is very good at explaining the material in a manner that makes sense to her. I highly recommend Miguel!

The Perfect Tutor
