I've always loved learning about history and literature, and I hope to impart to my students how terrific the humanities are. My daughter fell behind in Latin early in the year and her frustration level has grown steadily. Ephraim went back to the beginning with her and re-taught the lessons that she was having trouble with. After only one session she said that her homework assignments were much easier to do because she understands so much more. We still have some work to do but it is a very good start.

We will continue to work with Ephraim for both Latin and paper writing.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
