Hi! My name is Micaela, and I’m a dedicated, patient, and highly motivated student who graduated with a 4.2 GPA and proud membership in the National Honor Society. I’ve always believed that learning is about more than just grades. Learning is about building confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for the future.
I’ve attended academically rigorous, preparatory schools throughout my life, where I’ve learned how to manage challenging coursework, develop strong study habits, and approach learning with discipline and purpose. Through my own experiences, I understand that every student learns differently, and I enjoy finding creative and personalized ways to help each student succeed.
In addition to my academic work, I’ve been actively involved in service and leadership, including tutoring, volunteering, and supporting younger students. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to explain difficult concepts in clear and encouraging ways.
Whether you need help with homework, test preparation, writing, organization, or building better study habits, I will work with you step by step to reach your goals.
I am especially interested in tutoring and supporting students in subjects where I feel I can make the greatest impact. These include K–12 mathematics, high school Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, and College Algebra. I am also passionate about assisting in Religion and Theology courses, where I enjoy helping students think critically about faith, ethics, and meaning. In the humanities, I am drawn to World History, Literature, and Writing—especially works from the Gothic and Romantic traditions that explore aspects of human nature and invite students to wrestle with larger philosophical and moral questions.
My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them believe in their own abilities. I look forward to working with you and being a positive part of your learning journey.
