I am a dedicated biology educator with 25 years of classroom experience and a passion for making science accessible to every learner. Over the course of my career, I have taught a full spectrum of freshman biology courses—including honors, autism support programs, and special education—always striving to bring warmth, clarity, and patience to students of all backgrounds and learning styles.
For the past seven years, I have also taught AP Biology, and my students consistently excel, earning an average score of 4.4 on the AP exam. I take pride in my ability to break down complex biological concepts into simple, engaging lessons that help students build confidence and genuine curiosity.
I hold both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Maryland, and I remain committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating classroom environment where every student can thrive.
