I taught middle school math in the classroom for 10+ years and also worked as a math interventionist/ breaking things down remedially to students who needed additional support in and outside the classroom. I was able to recieve over 80+ hours of multi-sensory math training, which helps breaks things down to their basic level and present them to my students in hands on, easy to grasp way works well with students who are dislexic or have other math learning needs. I also hold BA degree in Economics and Public Policy from Syracuse University. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with adults to elementary age. My students find me laid back,encouraging and non-judgemental. I am great for helping build confidence, too.
