I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Towson University and am certified to teach grades K–6. My teaching journey began early, giving me a strong foundation in both classroom instruction and individualized support for students.
I started tutoring elementary mathematics in 2014, working with small groups of students to build foundational skills and confidence. In 2015, I completed my first teaching internship, which sparked my passion for education and instructional practice. During my college years, I completed four additional teaching internships across multiple elementary grade levels, allowing me to gain experience with diverse learners and instructional needs. I also worked as a tutor through a work-study program at the middle school level, providing one-on-one and small-group academic support.
In 2021, I officially began my career as a classroom teacher and am currently in my fifth year teaching 5th grade math and science. Throughout my teaching and tutoring experiences, I have worked with students ranging from elementary through middle school in classroom, small-group, and one-on-one settings. My approach emphasizes clear explanations, scaffolded instruction, and helping students develop strong problem-solving skills and confidence in their learning.
