Hi, I'm Jennifer, a dedicated attorney, educator, and writing tutor with a passion for guiding students towards academic excellence and professional success! I bring a unique blend of expertise in legal practice, writing instruction, and academic support as a tutor.

I have a JD, Cum Laude, from the Washington College of Law, where I was an active member of the Administrative Law Review. I also earned a BA in Justice, Law & Society, Cum Laude, from American University. My professional experience spans both the legal and academic realms. As an attorney, I gained over a decade of invaluable experience representing clients in corporate transactions at a top, multinational law firm. Since leaving the active practice of law, I have worked at several universities tutoring college and graduate-level students in academic writing across all disciplines. I have also taught courses in business law and business ethics, and I regularly facilitate writing workshops focusing on grammar, punctuation, the five-paragraph essay, thesis statements, and MLA and APA citations.

As a tutor, I specialize in academic writing for high school, college, and graduate courses. I also have extensive experience working with ESL students. My approach is rooted in personalized instruction, tailored to meet each student's unique needs and learning style and I am committed to providing comprehensive support to help students succeed academically.
