I hold a BS in elementary education, an MS in educational leadership and am pursuing my Ed.D. I’d love to work with you or your student to sharpen skills, overcome hurdles, and increase confidence. I am highly experienced with IEPs and work with student who have learning disabilities as well as highly gifted students and those who are twice exceptional.
Building relationships with students helps them become comfortable with me. Naturally I am excited by math and I transfer that to students. I use math tools and strategies to ensure learning is clear and memorable. My experience, training and certifications allow me to diagnose misconceptions, teach skills in multiple ways, show strategies to help learning stick, and expand critical thinking. I am fully certified in Maryland as a Teacher and Principal and I hold National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Mathematics.
