Hello! My name is Chad, and I am a high school Social Studies teacher with 10 years of classroom experience. My experience has allowed me to work with students of many different ages, backgrounds, learning styles, and academic abilities.
I am available to tutor middle school, high school, college, and adult learners in Social Studies and English courses. My tutoring approach is centered on meeting students where they are and adapting instruction to their individual needs. I believe there is no single approach that works for every student, so I adjust my explanations, activities, and strategies based on how each student learns best. My special education certification and classroom experience have given me extensive experience breaking down challenging concepts, providing additional support, and finding different ways to explain difficult material. I have successfully tutored students both virtually and in person.
