At Georgetown University, chemistry is the toughest subject any student can study. During my sophomore year, I was employed to tutor general chemistry for nursing students. After my graduation, I taught high school chemistry and physics at School Without Walls, in Washington, DC and later at Immaculata College High School.
Today, all my students are excelling in their different medical professions. After teaching and tutoring for a few years, I enrolled in the College of Pharmacy, Howard University. I earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Today, in spite of my duties as a pharmacist, I am still passionate to inspire and empower young people to get into the medical professions. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to reach the students on a one-one basis and make a difference in their lives. There is always a need in medicine, pharmacy and nursing. There is fulfillment and security in healthcare.
