Hi there, my name is Shannon! I have 12 years of both military and civilian nursing experience in Medical & Surgical, Emergency Nursing, and more recently Primary Care- Family Practice. I have a great academic and clinical understanding on a wide range of nursing/medical-related topics. I actively maintain multiple professional certifications (CEN, RN, NP) and resuscitative medicine certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC), which have allowed me to develop a good understanding of testing psychology and formal exam structure. I passed my NCLEX & AANP FNP certification exams on the first attempt, and have stayed current by periodically doing Kaplan/Saunders/Fitzgerald test prep questions and CE's, which helps me with teaching test tips/tricks.
